Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher by 0.18% at 9,697.88 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.40% to close Tuesday's session at 1,812.89 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.26% to 2,680.87 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.14% to close at 1,726.01 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.41 billion after 342.39 million shares had been traded through 27,153 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 646.55 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 26.57 million and EGP 73.26 million, respectively, while the Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 99.84 million.
