Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session higher by 3.07% at 11,047.7 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 2.74% to close Thursday's session at 1,873.98 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 2.87% to 2,851.09 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 3.11% to close at 1,909.95 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 8.40 billion after 1.44 billion shares had been traded through 42,402 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 715.13 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 42.98 million and EGP 34.24 million, respectively, while the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 77.22 million.
