Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session higher by 2.31% at 10,973.72 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.60% to close Sunday's session at 1,924.95 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 1.61% to 2,894.38 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1.82% to close at 1,909.92 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 3.85 billion after 450.55 million shares had been traded through 40,847 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 708.33 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 529.14 million and EGP 477.45 million, respectively, while the foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 1 billion.
