Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 1.08% at 8,867.94 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.71% to close Monday's session at 1,725.69 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 1.71% to 2,527.09 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1.59% to close at 1,604.39 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.59 billion after 389.77 million shares had been traded through 33,229 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 602.97 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 67.56 million and EGP 70.86 million, respectively, while the Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 138.42 million.
