Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 0.22% at 10,109.36 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.62% to close Monday's session at 1,737.79 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.58% to 2,614.56 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.46% to close at 1,729.07 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.27 billion after 222.80 million shares had been traded through 28,681 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 663.54 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 354.60 million, while the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 22.75 million and EGP 331.84 million, respectively.
