Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined at the end of Wednesday’s session, as the EGX30 main index plunged by 6.81% to 28,281.91 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 8.84% to hit 6,326.98 points.
Similarly, the EGX100 EWI decreased by 8.87% to 8,985.61 points.
The trading value reached EGP 8.39 billion through the exchange of 1.75 billion shares. In addition, the market cap value totalled EGP 1.96 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 187.49 million and EGP 121 million, in respective order. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were the net buyers with EGP 308.49 million.
