Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index declining by 0.11% at 9,969.97 points.
The EGX50 EWI went up by 0.18% to settle at 1,770.8 points by the end of Wednesday’s session.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.88% to 1,870.36 points, while EGX100 EWI inched up by 0.66% to end the session at 2,760.38 points.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 2 billion after 479.54 million shares had been traded through 38,419 transactions.
The market cap value was valued at EGP 661.79 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 287.28 million and EGP 25.43 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 312.72 million.
