Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session down, as the EGX30 main index fell by 4.15% to 14,724.44 points.
The EGX50 EWI also declined by 6.72% to 2,486.14 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed lower by 8.22% at 2,564.33 points and by 7.64% at 3,811.88 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.91 billion after 663.31 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 956.86 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 138.33 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 95.16 million and EGP 43.16 million, respectively.
