Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 0.34% at 10,718.22 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.59% to close Wednesday's session at 1,824.03 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.64% to 2,771.66 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.82% to close at 1,852.26 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.32 billion after 251.43 million shares had been traded through 27,922 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 697.50 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 149.11 million and EGP 126.77 million, while the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 275.89 million.
