Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 1.87% at 10,236.06 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 3.14% to close Wednesday's session at 1,837.15 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 2.84% to 2,742.97 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 2.40% to close at 1,792.52 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.04 billion after 581.76 million shares had been traded through 42,498 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 673.35 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian, Arab, and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 39.29 million, EGP 1.93 million, and EGP 5.44 million, respectively.
