Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note with the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declining by 0.05% at 1,809.62 points.
The benchmark EGX30 index rose by 1.58% to close Tuesday's session at 10,898.69 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went up by 0.77% to settle at 1,864.26 points by the end of Wednesday, while EGX100 EWI inched up by 0.35% to 2,764.66 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 30.75 billion after 1.72 billion shares had been traded through 26,165 transactions.
The market cap value was valued at EGP 704.05 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 29.31 billion, while Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 29.46 billion and EGP 150.59 million, respectively.
