Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher by 0.64% at 10,048.36 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.08% to close Tuesday's session at 1,781.28 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 1.04% to 2,667.29 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.93% to close at 1.750.46 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 1.57 billion after 301.09 million shares had been traded through 29,538 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 663.59 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 127.48 million, while the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 15.61 million and EGP 111.87 million, respectively.
