EGX closes Tuesday’s session in decline

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark index (EGX30) ended Tuesday down by 0.73% at 11,413 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 4.63% to 2,031 points.

The EGX100 EWI also declined by 3.73% to 2,990 points, and the EGX50 EWI went down 3.53% to 1,933 points.

The turnover amounted to EGP 938.6755 million through the exchange of 285.62 million shares.

EGX’s market cap value decreased by EGP 9.92 billion to EGP 709.91 billion.

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 120.02 million, while local and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 100.77 million and EGP 19.24 million, respectively.
