Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained 0.54% to close Tuesday at 11,913.44 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.18% to 3,224.69 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI added 0.17% to close at 2,181.67 points.
Similarly, the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.24% to 2,072.03 points.
The turnover stood at EGP 1.2 billion through the exchange of 329.95 million shares, compared to EGP 1.07 billion and 528.19 million shares on Monday. Meanwhile, the market cap value surged to EGP 752.99 billion from EGP 749.96 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors remained net sellers with EGP 86.01 million and EGP 2.85 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 88.87 million.
