Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index decreasing by 0.63% to 11,542.43 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.34% to 2,139.89 points, while the EGX100 EWI inched up by 0.28% to 3,141.4 points.
The EGX50 index went up by 0.30% to settle at 1,998.96 points by the end of Tuesday's session.
The market’s turnover reached EGP 16.789 billion after 270.537 million shares were traded through 29,979 transactions.
The market cap value amounted to EGP 746.016 billion.
Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 915.7 million and EGP 65.68 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 981.383 million.
