Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday higher by 1.32% at 11,663.32 points.
The EGX50 EWI went up by 0.49% to 2,002.94 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI added 0.63% to 1,991.94 points.
EGX100 EWI also rose by 0.42% to 3,009 points.
EGX’s trading value stood at EGP 1.97 billion through the exchange of 549.85 million shares. The market cap value amounted to EGP 747.10 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 175.45 million and EGP 87.20 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 262.65 million.
