Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index up by 0.36% at 10,453.59 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went up by 0.01% to settle at 1,856.27 points by the end of Thursday's session.
On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 0.29% to 1,867.41 points, while EGX100 EWI inched down by 0.09% to end the session at 2,815.33 points.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 3.55 billion after 267.37 million shares had been traded through 32,076 transactions.
The market cap value was valued at EGP 681.44 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 126.62 million and EGP 450.90 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 577.53 million
