Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Thursday’s trading session higher by 0.19% at 10,726.44 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 1.15% to close Thursday's session at 1,894.67 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.70% to 2,848.45 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.03% to close at 1,875.75 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.82 billion after 315.31 million shares had been traded through 45,074 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 695.69 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 189.60 million and EGP 99.64 million, respectively, while the foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 289.24 million.
