Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) surged by 4.92% at the end of Thursday’s trading session, reaching 11,072.02 points.
The EGX50 EWI increased by 2.61% to 2,025.73 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI grew by 0.72% to 2,241.72 points and by 1.50% to 3,243.92 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 2.31 billion after 701.72 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value stood at EGP 745.79 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 317.17 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 129.28 million and EGP 187.89 million, respectively.
