Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session with a positive performance after the EGX30 main index went up by 0.81% to 18,026.17 points.
The EGX50 EWI also rose by 1.27% to 3,304.83 points.
Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 2.74% at 3,561.89 points and by 2.28% at 5,280.69 points, respectively.
A total of 1.08 billion shares were exchanged at a value of EGP 1.82 billion, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.17 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 72.34 million and EGP 1.31 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 73.65 million.
