EGX closes Sunday's session on mixed note

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index increasing by 0.26% at 10,480.67 points.

The EGX50 EWI also went down by 0.65% to settle at 1,844.25 points by the end of Sunday's session.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 1.35% to 1,842.17 points, while EGX100 EWI decreased by 1.12% to end the session at 2,783.87 points.

EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 13.72 billion after 211.76 million shares had been traded through 29,212 transactions.

The market cap value was valued at EGP 680.26 billion.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 8.20 billion, while Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 492.86 million and EGP 7.70 billion, respectively.
