Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone, with the EGX30 main index rising by 2.37% to 11,443.71 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went up by 1.14% to 2,061.78 points.
Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI and the EGX100 EWI indexes closed the session higher by 0.81% to 2,237.75 points and by 1.06% to 3,260.17 points, respectively.
Further, EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.35 billion after 455.46 million shares were exchanged during the session. The market cap value reached EGP 770.30 billion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 306.15 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 231.79 million and EGP 74.35 million, respectively.
