Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 1.15% at 11,501.92 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.35% to close Monday's session at 1,960.53 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.50% to 2,956.18 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.48% to close at 1,956.74 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 4.38 billion after 248.63 million shares had been traded through 31,052 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 720.792 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 477.89 million, while the Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 237.65 million and EGP 240.25 million, respectively.
