Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 0.29% at 11,490.45 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.77% to 2,118.85 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.96% to 3,123.76 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 1.17% to close at 1,997.95 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 10.43 billion after 192.23 million shares had been traded through 26,350 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 741.85 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 2.297 billion, while the Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 245.26 million and EGP 2.05 billion, respectively.
