Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday's trading session on a mixed note with the benchmark EGX30 index declining by 0.01% at 9,984.92 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went up by 0.10% to settle at 1,734.37 points by the end of Monday's session.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.49% to 1,762.26 points, while EGX100 EWI inched up by 0.40% to end the session at 2,639.79 points.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 2.72 billion after 267.22 million shares had been traded through 22,993 transactions.
The market cap value was valued at EGP 659.82 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 10.26 million and EGP 78.98 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 89.25 million.
