Cairo – Mubasher: The exchange rate of US dollar (USD) against the Egyptian pound (EGP) steading in Sunday’s early trades at an average of EGP 19.3 and EGP 19.4 per dollar for bids and asks, respectively.
HSBC Bank offered the highest rate for purchase and sale at EGP 18.9 and EGP 19.25, respectively.
The US-EGP pairs were traded at EGP 18.75-85 for sale and at EGP 18.65 for purchase according to CIB, Banque du Caire, SAIB, and Arab African International Bank.
The National Bank of Egyp0t and Banque Misr set the sale rate at EGP 18.6 a dollar and the buying rate at EGP 18.5 a dollar.
