Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited standalone financial results of the Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) showed net profits of EGP 625.23 million in 2020, down by 7.4% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 675.34 million.
The lender’s interest income retreated to EGP 7.36 billion last year from EGP 7.5 billion in 2019, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
During the first nine months of 2020, EG Bank logged consolidated net profits of EGP 455.26 million, compared to EGP 459.67 million in the same period in 2019.
In addition, the standalone financial results showed net profits of EGP 466.17 million, down from EGP 478.44 million in the January-September period of 2019.
