UAE – Mubasher: Dubai's Consumer Price Index (CPI) went down 0.56% to 102.46 points in October 2021, when compared to the same month of 2020.
On an annual basis, the prices of the food and beverages, transport, and recreation and culture sectors rose 3.49%, 16.84%, and 5.73%, respectively, according to the latest data by the Dubai Statistics Centre (DSC).
Meanwhile, the prices of the health, restaurants and hotels, and furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance segments increased by 1.13%, 1.3%, and 0.66%, respectively.
On the other hand, the prices of clothing and footwear and housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels decreased by 4.03% and 7.57%, respectively.
On a monthly basis, Dubai's CPI inched up 0.68% in October 2021.
