Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has reached more than two million LinkedIn followers, making him the most followed political figure on Microsoft's unit in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Bin Rashid also secured a place amongst the LinkedIn’s top thirty most followed global influencers and the second most-followed global political figure, according to recent statistics released by in the professional networking.
LinkedIn Influencer programme featured the world’s top 500 influencers, including innovators, politicians, thinkers and inspirational CEOs and change makers.
Along with Al Maktoum, LinkedIn’s list of world most influential figures included Bill Gates, founder of computer giant Microsoft Corporation, celebrated US author Arianna Huffington and VIRGIN boss Richard Branson amongst others.
