UAE - Mubasher: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a decree to form the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai to enhance the employment of Emiratis in the private sector.
With representatives from the public and private sector, the council aims to enhance the environment in the private sector to attract UAE talents and ensure that their educational outcomes are aligned with the requirements of the UAE labour market, according to a recent press release.
The council will also coordinate with companies to increase the number of UAE nationals across strategic sectors and develop programmes to achieve this goal.
Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori will chair the council, while the Director-General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department will be the Vice-Chairman.
