UAE - Mubasher: Dubai-based NY Koen Group has announced a potential purchase of Israir, Israel's third-largest airline, by its subsidiary Aero Private Jet at the upcoming auction.
Aero Private Jet sees the potential purchase as an opportunity to expand its services, as Israir specialises in curating packages in the Mediterranean and Europe for middle-class Israelis, the company said in a recent statement.
In addition, Israel's biggest tour operator runs scheduled and chartered flights to several destinations across Europe and transfers over a million passengers per year on both international and domestic flights.
Since the launch of its business aviation field in 2003, Aero Private Jet has had access to more than 7,000 planes and 4,000 airports and managed more than 3,200 flights.
The bid purchase came as Israir is planning to launch flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
