UAE - Mubasher: Dubai South, single-urban master development, has attracted 650 new companies and leased 945,488 square feet of space in 2020, Dubai media office reported.
To protect its business community from the coronavirus (COVID-19) impact, Dubai South has offered a number of stimulus packages, which helped the Business Park retain 90% of companies operating within it.
Offering business services and cost-effective office solutions, the Business Park at Dubai South attracts clients from different sectors, including IT, insurance, education, and online gaming.
The Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, Khalifa Al Zaffin, said: "Last year was an unusual year for everyone, and the challenges it brought about affected most industries across the world, especially brick and mortar ones."
Al Zaffin added: "In an effort to meet growing demand, we are currently developing an additional floor in our Business Centre that will be ready by the end of Q1 2021."
