Dubai Silicon inks MoU with Moro Hub to accelerate digital transformation

UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), a free zone technology park, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, to accelerate the delivery of smart services at the high-tech park.

The MoU was signed during WETEX 2021, being held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo 2020 Dubai, on 5-7 October 2021, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Under the agreement, DSO will promote Moro Hub’s services in its commercial entities, while Moro Hub will be enabled to sell its digital services, including Cloud Services, Moro Connect, Cyber Security Services and Colocation.

The Vice-Chairman and Group CEO of Digital DEWA at DSO’s stand at WETEX 2021, Marwan bin Haidar, said: "As such, using innovative and smart technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we aim to enhance our offerings and services through this partnership and scale our business and expand within the MENA region."

Meanwhile, the Executive Vice President of Engineering and Smart City at DSO, Muammar Khaled Al Katheeri, commented: "Dubai Silicon Oasis is keen on boosting its smart city solutions and digital services to facilitate access and usability, boosting ease of doing business and positioning Dubai and the wider UAE as a preferred destination for technology-focused business and investments."
