Dubai Investments unit invests AED 1.1bn in various projects

Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Investments Industries (DII), a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has invested in various projects worth AED 1.1 billion across diversified sectors, according to a statement.

The company targets promising sectors such as healthcare, aluminium and education.

DII has invested AED 110 million in its 30%-owned Emirates Aluminium Rolling (Emiroll).

Valued at AED 370 million, the Emiroll’s project will manufacture 65,000 tonnes of aluminium coils per annum for applications in downstream industries

Dubai Investments's unit pumped investments worth AED 185 million in the AED 700 million King’s College Hospital Healthcare.

DII holds 26.75% stake in the 100-bed hospital, which is expected to be ready by 2018.

The subsidiary invested AED 30 million in its 90%-owned MODUL University Dubai  worth AED 32 million.
