UAE - Mubasher: Dubai International Chamber has approved a three-year strategy to foster Dubai's position as a global trade hub, attract multinational companies, and support local companies' expansion.
Under the strategy, Dubai International Chamber seeks to attract 50 multinational companies to the emirate in three years and enable 100 local companies to expand in key foreign markets in two years, according to a press release on Wednesday.
The Chamber will also support multinational companies to list on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, Sultan bin Sulayem, said that the new strategy is in line with the five-year plan introduced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to boost Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade to AED 2 trillion.
