Dubai Healthcare City Authority rolls out AED 1.3bn development plan

Dubai - Mubasher:  Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) has unveiled a AED 1.30 billion plan to expand Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) Phase 1, cementing its position as a leading global healthcare investment hub.

The first stage includes a LEED platinum-certified office building, a purpose-built medical complex, and supporting infrastructure to drive growth and innovation, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Issam Galadari, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, said: “By creating an ecosystem that attracts investments, including FDI, and fosters innovation, while integrating sustainability with world-class design, we are aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, and the UAE Net Zero Strategy 2050”

The LEED platinum-certified office building spans 13,000 square meters over nine floors and three basements, offering flexible office and commercial space.

Meanwhile, the 5,800 square meters medical complex includes surgical facilities, labs, diagnostics, outpatient services, and adaptable medical offices.

DHCA will also add multi-storey car parks with EV charging, smart Salik integration, and full accessibility.

Allae Almanini, COO at Dubai Healthcare City Authority, added: “These projects will enhance accessibility, sustainability, and efficiency across the community, ensuring that DHCC remains the most attractive healthcare investment destination in the region.”

Meanwhile, the construction will start in December 2025, with completion planned for November 2027.
