UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Chambers has launched the In Focus initiative to enable its members to scale up their business into new international markets, according to a recent press release.
The new initiative, which is held to display key markets in Central Asia, seeks to drive members’ interest in potential destinations for their global business expansion plan.
In Focus will serve as a platform for Dubai enterprises and member firms to connect with public and private sector leaders of selected markets in order to reinforce cross-border partnerships and drive mutual business growth.
The initiative targets Dubai Chambers’ member companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), family businesses, and multinational firms to engage them with external stakeholders in the economic, trade, and investment sectors.
Hassan Al Hashemi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, said: “The new In Focus initiative is in line with our strategic priority to drive international expansion of our members while supporting Dubai’s plan to increase the emirate’s foreign trade to AED 2 trillion by 2026.”
Al Hashemi mentioned: “One of our key objectives to contribute to this vision is to support 100 businesses to expand globally within the next two years.”
Last November, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce launched two new business groups; the Bottled Water Business Group and the Circular Packaging Association to boost Dubai’s growth and sustainability.
