UAE – Mubasher: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has registered AED 11 million in cost savings in 2021 after adopting the 100% Paperless Stamp initiative from the Dubai Digital Authority.
Through this initiative, the Chamber has saved one million sheets of paper in 2021, alongside the cost of printing, time, and transportation, according to a press release on Wednesday.
In 2021, the Dubai Chamber obtained the 100% Paperless Stamp after fulfilling the requirements set under the Dubai Paperless Strategy, which aims to enable the emirate to become a global smart city and the first paperless government in the world.
The President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, Hamad Buamim, said that the Dubai Chamber currently offers over 50 smart services to improve the ease of doing business and streamlined processes.
