UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eBay to enable its member companies and UAE businesses to expand globally and increase their online sales abroad.
UAE companies will be provided with practical training through the eBay for Business - UAE Programme to start a new store and grow their businesses on eBay.com, according to a press release on Monday.
Participants will also have access to tools and solutions necessary for reaching 190 global markets through eBay and more than 185 million active users across the world.
Hence, this partnership will support UAE companies to strengthen their digital skills, expand their global reach, and explore new business opportunities emerging in global markets with growing consumer demand.
The Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chamber, Hassan Al Hashemi, said: "This strategic partnership complements Dubai Chamber’s ongoing efforts to support the growth of Dubai’s digital economy and provide our members, and SMEs in particular, with access to knowledge, tools and benefits that can help them thrive and grow their business beyond borders."
