Riyadh – Mubasher: Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group registered net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 644.4 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, higher by 46.8% than SAR 438.85 million in H1-20.
Earnings per share amounted to SAR 1.84 in H1-21, compared to SAR 1.25 in H1-20, according to a disclosure to Tadawul on Sunday.
Revenues grew by 35% to SAR 3.44 billion in H1-21 from SAR 2.54 billion in H1-20.
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, the medical group achieved an increase of 69% in net profits to SAR 325.4 million from SAR 192.25 million in Q2-20.
Revenues also surged by 45.5% to SAR 1.75 billion in Q2-21 from SAR 1.2 billion in Q2-20.
On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were 2% higher than SAR 319 million in Q1-21, and the revenues rose 3% from SAR 1.69 billion.
In a separate bourse filing, the group announced a cash dividend of SAR 0.7 per share, representing 7% of the share’s par value, for Q2-21.
A total of SAR 245 million will be paid as dividends for 350 million shares eligible for the dividends.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib will disburse the dividends on 30 August for the shareholders of record date on Thursday, 12 August.
