Cairo – Mubasher: Dice Sport and Casual Wear on Monday posted a consolidated net loss of EGP 137.6 million for fiscal year 2016, compared to profits worth EGP 54.8 million for FY15.
Sales increased in FY16 to EGP 721.6 million from EGP 588.87 million in FY15, according to a bourse filing.
Consolidated foreign exchange losses amounted to EGP 211.67 million in FY16, versus EGP 5.05 million in FY15.
The company will hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 1 July to discuss the company's business continuity as losses exceeded 50% of the capital.
On the same date, the ordinary general meeting (OGM) will review the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016.
