Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The board of Dana Gas has proposed a cash dividend distribution of 4.5 fils per share for the second half (H2) of 2021.
This recommendation will raise the total dividends to 8 fils per share for 2021, up 45% from 2020, according to a press release on Tuesday.
The Chairman of the Group, Hamid Jafar, said: "Dana Gas achieved record profits and collections over the previous year, through careful management of costs and operations, and against a backdrop of rising energy prices."
Jafar added: "The outlook for 2022 is positive given higher energy prices and the continued focus on the management of operations and growth projects."
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company achieved net profits of AED 1.16 billion, versus net losses of AED 1.38 billion in the earlier year.
