UAE - Mubasher: The total number of passengers at Dubai International Airport (DXB) jumped to 20.7 million from January to October, the Dubai media office reported.
The higher number of passengers is driven by the easing of travel restrictions across the world, which has restored confidence in the future prospects of the travel industry.
During the third quarter (Q3) of 2021, the total number of passengers at DXB reached 6.7 million.
Meanwhile, the Dubai-based airport has handled 581,972 tonnes of freight in Q3-21 to raise the total volume of freight by 25.3% year-on-year (YoY) to 1.7 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2021.
