DSI, Arabtec lead DFM to red at Sunday’s open

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a bearish performance in Sunday’s early trades.

The main index fell 0.62% or 22.61 points to reach 3,624.72 points by 11:21 am UAE time.

The real estate sector declined 0.71% as Drake and Scull International (DSI), Arabtec Holding, Union Properties, Deyaar Development, and Emaar Properties went down 3.1%, 2.33%, 1.70%, 0.94%, and 0.83%, respectively.

The banks sector fell 0.55% as Amlak Finance, Emirates Islamic Bank, and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) retreated 0.92%, 0.83%, and 0.82%, respectively.

The telecom sector levelled down 0.52% after du decreased 0.52%.

The market saw trading of 32.55 million shares through 757 transactions, with a turnover of AED 38.73 million.
