UAE – Mubasher: Smart Solution Logistics FZE (SSL), DP World’s port-centric logistics arm, has reached an agreement with Israel-based Allalouf Logistics to strengthen the logistics sector in the UAE, Israel, and other key markets, Dubai media office reported.
Through the agreement, both companies will cooperate in exploring new growth opportunities in the logistics and general freight and fostering trade between key hubs in the UAE and Israel.
In addition, SSL and Allalouf Logistics will work on establishing freight stations necessary for the operational receiving, loading, shipping, unloading, and orderly release of cargo and full container load.
The companies will also offer services related to shipments and customs formalities, trucking and port handling, storage, and collection of cargo.
Located in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Port, SSL enables companies to link their supply chain to any part of the world using high-end IT platforms and various transportation modes.
The Chief Operating Officer of SSL, Albert Kraak, said: "Through our collaboration with Allalouf Logistics, our primary goal is to expand our network and reach markets that were inaccessible in the past."
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Allalouf Logistics, Gil Miller, remarked: "The onset of the global pandemic has underpinned the importance of the logistics sector. Collaborations like these are essential to tackle the challenges in the supply chain and keep economies running."
