UAE - Mubasher: DIFC FinTech Hive, the region's only FinTech-focused startup ecosystem, has launched a new virtual format of its FinTech Accelerator programme in 2021.
The FinTech Accelerator 2021 will be operated as a hybrid format to allow for the participation of FinTech startups from around the world, which seek to enter the Middle East markets, according to a press release on Wednesday.
The programme is also set to support more FinTechs, with two ‘innovation sprints’ offering, as the DIFC FinTech Hive Accelerator seeks to boost the DIFC’s Innovation ecosystem.
Meanwhile, the FinTech Accelerator 2021 will enable participants to connect with industry partners to explore new growth opportunities and benefit from workshops, networking, partnerships, and access to the DIFC’s regulatory sandbox.
Participants will also be able to pitch their businesses to key stakeholders and investors, including the DIFC’s $100 million FinTech Fund.
The Executive Vice President of DIFC FinTech Hive, Raja Al Mazrouei, said: "In seeking out the best startups globally – which also match our industry partners’ priorities and needs – we are focused on maximising the Accelerator’s impact and success in driving the Future of Finance."
