Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) continued its decline in Monday’s early trades.
The DFMGI fell 0.24% or 8.9 points to reach 3,669.57 points by 10:30am UAE time.
The market saw trading of 117.1 million shares through 1,290 transactions, with a turnover of AED 132.8 million.
The industrial sector was the worst performer with a 3.3% decline, dragged down by the fall of National Cement Co. which slid 3.33%.
The telecom sector decreased 0.33% after du went down 0.33%. The banks sector levelled down 0.13% as Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) sank 0.17%.
On the flipside, the insurance and real estate sector rose 0.57% and 0.12% respectively.
Hits Telecom, which added 2.2%, was the most active stock after trading 48.62 million shares worth AED 39.51 million.
