Dubai-Mubasher: Dubai Financial Market (DFM) opened at a decline in Monday’s early trades, weighed by Emaar Properties, Arabtec Holding, Dubai Islamic Bank and Dubai Investments.
The DFMGI declined 1.37% or 43.51 points to reach 3,130.83 points by 10:30am UAE time.
Turnover reached AED 41.5 million after 35.8 million shares were traded through 620 transactions.
UAE markets are expected to hold at the current levels amid the continuity of its recent volatile sideways trend, analysts told Mubasher.
The real estate sector led losers by 2.34%, weighed by Emaar and Arabtec which slid 3.3% and 1.85%, respectively.
The investment sector fell 1.4% as Dubai Investments and DFM Company which declined 1% and 3.4% in a row.
The banks sector lost 0.57% as Dubai Islamic Bank and Amlak Finance dropped 0.5% and 3.6%, respectively.
The telecom sector levelled down 0.4 due to a drop in du by 0.4% to AED 5.03.
On the flipside, the industrial sector remained unchanged.
