Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw marginal gains on Thursday, spurred by the growth of investment and telecom sectors.
The main index added 0.02% or 0.67 points to reach 3,419.73 points.
Trading volume reached 307.83 million shares on Thursday, compared to 150.75 million shares on Wednesday. Turnover amounted to AED 443.12 million, compared to AED 218.94 million.
The investment sector added 0.82% as DFM Company and Dubai Investments grew 1.72% and 0.94%, respectively.
The telecom sector grew 0.2% as du gained 0.2%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector fell 0.29% as Emaar Properties and Arabtec Holding sank 1.75% and 1.59, respectively.
GFH Financial Holding was the value leader after generating AED 131.42 million, while Arabtec was the most active stock with a trading volume of 71.1 million shares.
