DFM loses 0.87% in Tuesday’s early trades

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) saw a negative performance in Tuesday’s early trades, weighed down by the fall of most sectors led by the real estate and banks.

The general index slid 0.87% or 31.69 points to reach 3,626.30 points by 8:20am UAE time.

The telecom sector topped losers with a 1.69% decline as du went down 1.69%. The real estate sector also tumbled 1.07% after Emaar Properties decreased 1.4%.

The investment sector retreated 0.6% as DFM Company sank 2.2%. The banks sector also declined 0.5% after Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) levelled down 0.8%.

The market saw trading of 259.95 million shares through 1,259 transactions, with a turnover of AED 353.69 million.
